Loving life's little pleasures, which include, but are not limited to: vinyl records, scarves, hot tea, lazy summers, flying kites, The French New Wave, ill-fitting t-shirts, old tobacco pipes and clove cigarettes, those suit jackets with the leather patches on the elbows,French press coffee, fireplaces, clawfoot tubs, men with generous facial hair, butter & cream, hats, blues music, whistling, properly entertaining radio programs, black & white photographs, chess games with strangers, toy cameras, tiny cursive handwritting, local cinemas, attic bedrooms, mixtapes, hazy winter mornings, really old books, handwritten letters, courting, three-storey houses, creaky beds, satchels, 1960s French cars, old couches, banjos, Japanese crafts, flappers, doing the Charlie Brown, local bands, waking up next to another human being, old bicycles, community theatre productions of serious plays, and the backs of smokey coffeehouses.
